With PECO power in a compact size, the Truck Loader turns your pickup truck into a powerful debris collection system. Powered with Briggs Stratton 14hp Vanguard Electric Start engine mounts to a standard 2” trailer hitch and uses PECO’s proven steel impeller and blower housing connected to 25’ of tough flexible polyurethane 8” diameter hose with an oversized nozzle and ergonomic handle. You provide the container; PECO's Truck Loader does the rest.

  1. What is the range of the wand? Can the hose be extended up to a certain length, and still be effective? What is the maximum length you'd recommend for the 14Hp and can the engine be upgraded to a increase range?

    1. The truck loader will come with 8" diameter x 25 foot of hose. There is not additional hose available to extend the hose and wand on this unit.

    1. The vacuum could not be used to pick up litter such as plastic bottles.

  4. How fast is this at collecting leaves from a pile vs. manually collecting?

    1. This loader collects leaves much more quickly than if leaves were collected manually. It is equipped with a 14 HP motor.

  5. How do I get that extra large truck bed container.  The vacuum has no use without a large storage container that would be easy to dump!

    1. The truck loader is designed to be emptied into a pick up box. We do not carry truck bed containers for the loader.

  6. How much it weighs and do it come with the black box

    1. The truck loader weighs 250 pounds. The black box is not included; that is provided by the user.

  7. It says it connects via a 2-inch ball, but do I have to take it off every time I dump or does it swivel to the side?

    1. You would need to remove it to dump the leaves.

    1. The vacuum is not recommended to be used to pick up dirt or sand.

  10. How does it work with pine needles? Small rocks might damage the turbine?

    1. The loader would be able to vacuum pine needles. It could not be used on small rocks, they could damage the unit.
