  1. Does this come assembled with the two floats. Is the wood  water resistant

    1. This dock section will require assembly. Cedar wood planking is naturally waterproof so it will not need any sealers or stains.

  2. How. Much weight does this support?

    1. The weight limit is 40 PSF (pounds per square foot). The Patriot dock frames are load tested to approximately 1000 pounds on the center of a 16 foot span. For commercial or high traffic applications, it is recommended that additional supports be added.

  3. Does it need Pilar's instalation?

    1. This dock section would be connected to an existing floating dock such as our item #79256, that has pilings to keep it anchored. Piling sleeves and pilings could be purchased directly with the manufacturer if you would like to add them to this section, however they typically only needed on the lake end of the dock.

  4. Can you make this dock with a synthetic type decking material like a Trex or vinyl material?
