Product Summary

The Patriot Docks Aluminum Gangway Kit is an excellent way to bridge your shoreline to pier safely. It includes a floating hinge on one side of the frame. This innovative hinge allows the gangway to move freely as water fluctuates, while providing a secure connection to the shoreline. Aluminum handrails are mounted on each side of the gangway, providing safe access to the pier. Constructed of structural marine-grade aluminum, this unit is strong yet lightweight. Easy to assemble and install.

  1. The hinges- How far up/down do they "hinge" in other words, if the water rises or falls 2-3 feet, how do the hinges handle that

    1. If the gangway kit is attached to a floating dock, the gangway will just rise and fall with the water level. It would not affect the hinges.

  2. Can you easily remove the guardrails for railing on one side only?

    1. The guardrail is secured in by a bolt, nut and washer. Those would have to be removed from each post to remove a guardrail.

    1. Optional second hinge or rollers are available for the opposite end of the ramp to suit the application (contact the manufacturer for more details on gangway accessories).
