  1. How is it mounted to the dock? Can it be free standing?

    1. The marine stairs will screw to the side of the dock. Drilling may be required. Mounting hardware is not included. The stairs are not designed to be used for free standing.

    1. This unit is not intended to be stacked. Any modification to the unit after purchase would void the warranty.

  4. what is the weight rating and how do you adjust the height?

    1. The weight rating is approximately 300 lbs. To adjust the stair height, adjust the pinch bolts that are located on the stair stringers, set the stair leg tubes to the preferred height, then tighten pinch bolts on the stair upright brackets.

  5. What is the height of the 6 step stairs from lake bottom to the pier support (5 1/4") beam? Are the legs adjustable?

    1. The steps will have a height adjustment of 6 inches. The height range is 42 inches up to 48". It will have a 45 degree angle to the dock.

    1. This is shipped in a flat box and will need to be assembled.

    1. The steps could be mounted to a wall, you would need to figure out the mounting. They would not be recommended to mount in or near salt water, as it would corrode them.

    1. The steps will have a leg adjustment of 6 inches. The height range is 42".-48". The step dimensions are 24" W x 5.5" D. The rise is 7". The angle for the dock is 45 degrees.
