Product Summary

This Oregon Ripping Chainsaw Chain features a special factory grind for making dimensional boards and planks from larger timbers by inch ripping. This chain is only for making ripping cuts on chain-style sawmills. Not recommended for handheld use. U.S.A.

Note: This chain saw may be capable of kickback that could result in serious injury to the saw operator or bystanders. Although this chain has features designed to reduce kickback energies, these are not low-kickback chains. Do not use this saw chain unless you have experience and specialized training for dealing with kickback.

  2. Will I need to remove links

    Previous reviewers say they needed to remove links to make this work... My Question, will I need to do the same to install this on my Husqvarna 460 with 20 inch bar

    1. This Oregon chain has 72 drive links. Those are the links that rides inside the bar. If your chain has 72 drive links it can be use as is. If your saw has less drive links you would need to shorten the chain.
