  1. The chrome pole which end goes to the fan

    1. Assemble the fan control panel/motor assembly onto the chrome extension and tighten the thumb screw. You will need to extend the chrome extension out of the fan pedestal. You will tighten the plastic handle on the pedestal to lock the height into the desired position.
