  1. How does the back of the fan cover attach to the fan so it doesn't fall off. i might be missing a piece.

    1. Put the base on level ground. Insert the stand pole to the base. Remove the fan blade cap on the end of the motor shaft by turning clockwise and the rear grill setting nut in front of the motor housing by turning it counter clockwise. Set the rear grill in the proper position with the handle up. Secure the rear grill by setting the rear grill by using the setting nut tightly attach it the motor housing. Install the fan blade on the shaft until it reaches the retailing pin and tighten the fan blade cap counterclockwise. This should then secure all parts to the fan.
