Product Summary

This Optima Scale Tension/Compression Scale is an economical solution to various weighing applications and testing purposes. It features unsurpassed high resolution in both tension and compression applications. With a measurement accuracy of better than 0.01% full scale, it is up to 10 times better than standard crane scales. Pre-calibrated with certified test weights per NIST's requirements, this scale is 0.1-lb. bi-directional for both tension and compression and safe up to 150% overload. The super bright display allows you to read weight at a distance. The load cell is nickel-plated and IP67 corrosion-resistant with a 20ft. cable from load cell to indicator. This scale features auto-zero tracking, net/gross display mode, peak hold, average hold, adjustable motion detection, full-range push-button zero, full-range push-button tare, ABS sealed indicator enclosure and a rechargeable battery.

  3. Does this unit have an IP67 port so it can get wet if needed?

    1. This model includes a scale with an IP67-rated cable. However, this cable connects to the indicator via a quick disconnect, which is IP65 rated. Therefore, the complete assembled unit is not IP67.

  5. Does this scale hold the max load or does it just hold the load at the value displayed when the Hold button is pressed?

    1. The readout can be set for manual hold, meaning the user presses the hold button to hold onto a weight. It also has a peak hold function which holds the heaviest weight placed on the scale.

    1. The scale will plug into a standard two prong wall outlet. The power supply can be from 100-240 volt 50/60 Hz 1.0 amp AC power. The scale is not hardwired.

    1. The scale would plug into a standard 110/120 volt wall outlet.

  9. Does this scale output to a DB9 connection, bluetooth, or other direct to computer type coneection

    1. The scale does have a DB9 pin connection. It will have a continuous sending mode for the PC. The indicator continuously sends data to the RS232 port. The scale can be connected to a remote display and printer sold separately through the manufacturer.

  10. What is the minimum force the sensor can measure? Will it be accurate from around 0.01 lbs-0.1 lbs?

    1. The scale will measure in pounds or kilograms. It would have an accuracy rating of 0.01%.
