This Omega Engine Hoist is used to remove, install and transport automotive and light truck engines and engine assemblies. It features heavy-duty welded construction with rugged reinforced tubular steel. The metered control release valve allows for lowering boom at a precisely controlled rate of speed. Crane must be used with appropriately rated engine leveller, sling and/or chains (not included).

    1. The Omega 44020 engine hoist uses four swivel casters and folds for storage through its retractable legs and pivoting boom.

  2. How far out does the boom extend?

    1. The boom extension goes out to a max boom and boom extension length of 76 inches at the weight capacity of 1/2 ton. To go up in capacity you have to retract the boom extension, there are several different locking positions for the boom extension.
