  1. Does the white plate come off to mount it to the motor first like non-gearbox stands? So you don't have to hover a swinging engine in front trying to adjust brackets and bolts to bolt it up. It's nice to bolt plate on then lift motor and stab it on.

    1. The stand is not designed to remove the plate and then attach the motor. The manufacturer instructs the engine be secured to the mounting plate while still on the stand.

    Need to know to determine if it will fit between legs of engine hoist. Thanks
