  1. Can this be used to remove liquid from a surface? or is it just used to remove debris from wet surfaces?

    1. This item is designed to remove a significant amount of water from a pool or water reservoir. It is not designed to remove a thin film of water.

  2. Could I use this as a pool vacuum for algae?

    1. This is suitable to use on a pool to remove algae.

  3. Will this filter fine silt before returning through discharge hose? Similar models seem to just return the fines back to the pond so only option is to send the water elsewhere which seems wasteful.

    1. When using the sludge remover, never use with out the foam filter. When using the nozzle fully open, this will accept pond foil, no gravel and a thick layer of sludge. When using the nozzle closed, this will accept pond film, gravel from the bottom and a thick layer of sludge. You may use a collection bag for course debris when discharging. The drain water will contain debris.
