    can it also be charged from 12 volt source?

    1. Yes, this unit includes an AC charger. It can also be charged thorough the 12 volt outlet with an optional cable. The part # is NFA4528. Please call our parts department @ 1-800-222-5381 for price and availability.

  3. Actual boost charging capacity

    I see this has onlya 7Ah battery. Is this sufficient to actually boost charge a car with a dead battery? My last portable emergency source had an 18Ah battery in it?

    1. The NPower Powerpack will jump start a dead battery on most cars and light trucks. The ampere hour(Ah) rating of the battery measures the total amount of power stored, and would determine how many batteries you could jump before needing to recharge. The 300 amp output of the powerpack will tell you how much power it can transfer at any given time.

    1. This powerpack power source is designed to jump start a 12 volt battery, it will not charge a battery to capacity.
