    Ideally I'd like to install a thrust type bearing that can better handle axial loading.

  2. Axial Loading Capacity

    Is there an axial load rating on this pillow block? I've read that a general rule of thumb is axial capacity is usually 20% of the lateral capacity. The lateral dynamic load rating is 1,564 pounds. I need to support a hanging 1" shaft for a large custom ceiling fan. The fan will weigh less than 100 pounds so the axial load is small relative to the lateral load capacity.
