    WILL THIS VALVE WORK TO RAISE AND LOWER A FRONT END LOADER? ALSO I NEED TO CURL THE BUCKET. I AM USING NORTHERN TOOL PART #10567 8 GALLON PER MINUTE GEAR PUMP. THE LOADER IS ON A SMALL GARDEN TRACTOR SO IT IS NOT VERY BIG OR HEAVY.

    3. If you don't need a float position this valve should do nicely. There is also an 8 GPM valve available at Northern, Prince Hydraulic Control Valve — 8 GPM, 2-Spool, Model# MB21BB5C1

  2. What is SAE #8 ? I need a valve to control a motor and a cylinder on a dump trailer. Any suggestions?

    1. SAE #8 is a common hydraulic fitting. It is called -8 or "dash 8", which means the hose size is 8/16 or 1/2 inch, and the same fitting is called SAE straight ORB (O-Ring Boss), and has 3/4"-16 threads.

  7. What is the measurement between the handles? My tractor has openings in the fender for additional hydraulic valves. I'm looking for a valve that will fit in those openings preferably without modifications.

    1. This measures 7/8" wide between the top grips and 1-1/8" wide in the center between the handles.

    I need the handles to extend away from the ports not 90 degrees, but the opposite of what is shown.

    1. The handles can be mounted either vertically or horizontally, but they cannot be mounted in a 180 degree position.

    1. This control valve can be used on systems that are rated less than 12 GPM. The standard factory setting is 2,100 PSI at 8 GPM.
