The handy broom easily attaches to the front of a compatible NorTrac Mini Track Loader (Item#s 2232003 and 2232503), and other universal Mini-SSL equipped machines. Easily mount the broom via the standard mini-SSL interface plate and quick connections to the loader's hydraulic system. Provides a 41in.W sweeping path.

  1. WILL THIS WORK WITH A 30 GPM AND 5000PSI TRACTOR

    1. This hydraulic broom has not been tested for 30 GPM and 5000 PSI. It is designed to be used with small loaders like the NorTrac compact track loader, item 2232503.

    1. The brush on this broom operates in reverse.

  3. Does this unit have angle articulation?

    1. This broom will have angle articulation, however it is not hydraulically powered. The angle can be changed by removing a bolt, manually angling the broom right or left, then installing the bolt to secure it.

  4.  Will this work on an avant 200 series

    1. This broom is not compatible with the Avant 200 series. The broom requires a hydraulic flow of 6.6 gallons per minute. It works best with NorTrac® Mini Track Loaders (Items 2232003 and 2232503).

  5. I purchased this unit without taking notice to the case drain. Our mini-loaders do not have the third line. Can this unit be used on a machine with only 2 lines?

    1. The broom will require three hydraulic lines for use. It would not be recommended to be used with a loader with only two hydraulic lines. This will in time damage the motor. Any warranties would be voided.

    1. The hydraulic broom will not work on a four wheeler.

  7. Can you get replacement broom brushes? What is the diameter of this rotary broom brush. And what is the shaft diameter that it fits on.

    1. The diameter of the brush is 19.69" (500MM). The diameter of the shaft that the brush will sit on is 1.38" (35MM). Please contact our Nortrac parts department at 800-521-0438 for assistance.

  8. What are the 3 hoses for? 2 large flat face (male and female) and one smaller flat face?

    1. The first two hoses will be for the pressure and return lines to run the hydraulic gear motor. The third hose will be a case drain line. Hydraulic gear motors can have some fluid loss as they run inside the case and the case drain is installed to drain this excess fluid back to the return lines. This is done to avoid breaking any seals or cracking the case due to excessive pressure.
