Product Summary

Its combination of size and power make it great for equestrian operations, brush cutting, post hole digging, grounds maintenance jobs and much more. Powered by a 35 HP 4-cylinder liquid-cooled EPA IV diesel engine with glow plugs and lower radiator hose heater, this tractor is engineered for years of trouble-free use. The tractor has shuttle shift transmission with 8 forward and 8 reverse speeds, so you'll always find the right speed for the job and 4-wheel drive for working on rough and varied terrain. The 3-pt. Category 1 hitch lets you expand your working options with a wide variety of attachments. Has an instrument panel with tachometer, hour meter, fuel level and engine temperature gauges. Warning indicators for oil pressure and electrical charging system, along with other performance indicators for key operating systems. ROPS (roll over protection structure) certified to OSHA standards. Includes sunshade and upgraded Grammer suspension seat. NorTrac tractors arrive fully assembled on a flat bed trailer and are fully operational at the point of delivery. The NorTrac 35XT 35 HP Tractor with Front-End Loader has everything needed to be a highly valuable tool and perform a huge array of tasks. The rear 3-pt. lift and drawbar hitches and PTO work perfectly with all NorTrac and standard Category 1 3-pt. implements. The 35XT is equipped with hand and foot throttles to make working with PTO implements easier on long work days. If PTO power isn't enough for you, there are also two sets of remote quick-connect hydraulic ports.

The NorTrac® 35XT 35 HP Tractor is a solid workhorse, but that doesn't mean that it isn't without refinements. Split brakes and heavy-duty agricultural tires can handle the most rugged terrain. To keep you informed, the dashboard has full instrumentation. The standard on-road lighting package means that you can legally drive on public roads to get from one worksite to the next. The OSHA certified ROPS rollbar with hardtop sunshade, seatbelt and an adjustable suspension seat keep you safe and comfortable. If you want to do more than bucket work, you can fit optional attachable fork blades to allow the loader to be used to move pallets and other loads. The loader can be removed in minutes to use other tools or to fit the tractor into tighter spaces.

    1. I had the same questions talked to sales guy and no it does not uses old school p pump reliability. I bought one also so i know for sure

  5. Which 3-Pt. Box Scraper is recommended for use with this tractor?

    1. You can easily use up to 6 ft scraper blade or box blade. But be careful with the box blade - the 3 pt is not strong enough to use for scraping while backing.

    1. American standard is 540 rarely do you ever see implements rated for 1000 on the horse power application you are talking g about

  9. Backhoe Questions

    How difficult is it to remove the backhoe to use the 3-point with other implements? Are the backhoe hydraulics powered by the PTO? Can the backhoe be used at 90 to tractor? Is there a backhoe manual available online?

    1. If you spend 20min. or more reading the instructions for the removal, then it'll take you less than ten minutes to remove and store the backhoe. The 3-point implements are basically simple to install but onceagain --read the instructions for installation. Backhoe is powered by 2 speed PTO. If it's not 90deg, it's so close you won't notice. There is a manual that comes with the tractor and each implement that you get with it. ae: tractor, loader, backhoe,mower,etc. You also get the static weights for when you remove the backhoe to keep the weight distribution of the tractor correct.

    2. Removal of the backhoe from the 3-point hitch is very easy, and only takes a few minutes. Disconnect the hydraulics, pull a few pins, and drive the tractor away. The auxiliary hydraulics in the rear will run off the PTO shaft. The outriggers on the backhoe prevent it from using at 90 degrees to the tractor, but will come close to 90. While the unit will come with a manual for the backhoe, we do not have it published online at this time.

  10. i need tractor to skid log 's hoping that the 35hp would do the job plus do you weight the rear tires

    1. We used our new 35 hp in the wood lot all summer and were very pleased. We could skid large logs pulling them from the rear, or on the small or medium sized logs we could hook the chain to the bucket and lift the log to keep it clean while skidding it. Worked like a charm!

    2. The NorTrac 35XT would work well for skidding logs up to the rear lift capacity(1,655 lbs). We do weight the rear tires as well.
