  3. Does Nortrac use o-ring roller chain on the front auger? I have always used O-ring type roller chain on my dirt bikes! the chains last longer in wet/muddy conditions!

  5. is the PTO shaft adjustable I have a Kubota B2600? I was told different makes of tractors will use different lengths of PTO.

    1. The PTO comes collapsed. It can be extended. If it is too long it can be cut down to size.

    1. This snow blower requires a tractor with a Category 1, 3-point hitch, and 16 to 35 HP PTO rating. It would not fit on a garden tractor.

  8. Does this unit use sheer pins?  If so, what size, how many, and where are the located?

    1. This unit has 1 shear bolt, it is located on the PTO yoke. The size is M8 x 45 x 1.25. Grade 8.8.

    1. This is best used for snow removal only. While it will scrape the surface it is being used on by adjusting the skid shoes, it would not be a good option to scrape and break up ice.

  10. Will this work on long gravel drive with no damage to unit?

    1. This snow blower has adjustable skid shoes so the depth of the unit can be set which means it can be raised so that it does not come in contact with the gravel driveway. Gravel can still find its way into the blower, but as long as that is kept to a minimum there will only be minor damage, such as paint chipping.
