  1. Will a tractor with 24 pto hp handle the 60" snowblower?

    1. I have a 24hp diesel w/18 pto hp and it handled the 60" blower just fine.
      In 2016 I used this blower in snow drifts over 3' you just need to drive slower but it will move an impressive amount of snow.

    3. This 3-pt. snow blower will run off a tractor with 24 PTO horsepower. With that amount of horsepower, it's necessary to drive slower when blowing wet/heavy snow than when blowing dry/fluffy snow.

    can it be used in small storms like 1-2 inches?

    1. I would think so. We get 10-20.

    2. This snow blower includes adjustable skid shoes that at the lowest setting will allow snow removal down to 3/4"-1" of the ground surface. This adjustable set of shoes can be removed to get within 1/2" of the ground surface. The auger intake performs better when moving deeper snow. With lighter snowfalls(2" and less), the effectiveness of the snow blower can be increased by driving your tractor faster, if possible.

  5. Minium PTO Power

    I have Kubota 2050 with a 14.9 hp PTO. Will the 50 or 60 inch blower be better . I do not want to be underpowered. Thanks

    1. With the 14.9HP PTO, a 50" snow thrower would be the proper size to use.

    2. I put a 60" on my BX2350 and the PTO has no issues (17 hp) but if you dont plan on eventually getting a bigger tractor I would go with a 50", I went 60" and its a really big blower, but I hop to upgrade to larger tracktor.

  9. Is it possible to add a cutting edge or scraper blade to this unit? From the reviews I've read it sounds like this unit won't cleanly scrape the ground surface if you get snow below 1-2 inches

    1. A cutting edge is unavailable for this snow thrower. Altering the unit would void the manufacturers warranty.
