  1. Can you add the u shape to the end and clean gutters?

    Can you add the u shape to the end and clean gutters with this wand?

    1. Yes you can. I have done it. I have the small hole gutter guards and use it to flush out the gutters. Works well.

    2. A gutter cleaner can be added to this telescoping pole to clean gutters. See the recommended gutter cleaner, item # 43381, below.

  2. Chemicals

    How do I mix chemicals through the wand?

    1. Use the BLACK nozzle any time you are using soap or chemicals. The BLACK one is the only one that works for administering chemicals. Once you have finished applying chemicals, switch to which ever other nozzle you need and start power washing.

    2. This telescoping wand on its own will not mix chemicals/soap with the water that is sprayed. It must be connected to a pressure washer (with a hose) that has a detergent/soap injector. Many of our pressure washers are equipped with a downstream chemical injector which allows detergent/soap to be applied/sprayed at low pressure. Those pressure washers will include a braided chemical hose that is connected to the downstream side of the pump. Suction pressure at that connection automatically draws the chemical/detergent solution in through the chemical hose, mixing in 1 part chemical to 15 parts water. Adequate suction pressure is created only when the low pressure soap nozzle is used. Pressure washers with downstream chemical/soap injectors normally come with the low pressure soap nozzle that inserts into the nozzle holder on the end of this telescoping wand.

  3. Can I add a curved extension to this wand to clean second floor gutters?

    1. I use mine with the gutter cleaner extension as well as a 45 degree extension. How far out I extend it sort of dictates which tip I use. I’ve also learn to allow the back pressure to help me hold and work the pole. I’ve used it many times for 7-plus hours.

    2. You may use a gutter cleaner attachment with the extension. The gutter cleaner will be item number 43381.

  4. My present Northstar gun has a 3/8 female quick disconnect for the hose. It appears as thou this telescoping pressure washer has the same fitting. Please confirm.

    1. This telescoping pressure washer wand will have a 3/8" female NPT fitting. A quick connect plug such as item #43370 may be needed to connect your hose.

  5. Does it really deliver 4000 psi ?

    1. Yes, if it is being used with a 4000 PSI pressure washer that has a properly sized high pressure hose.

  6. What is the minimum pressure you need? I have a dewalt electric washer with 2100 gpm.  Will this work?

    1. For best performance, this should not be used with a pressure washer that has less than 4 GPM and 3,000 PSI. Please view item #56485 for a compatible telescoping wand.
