    1. This turbo nozzle can be used with the Powerhorse pressure washer, item 115179; however, a turbo nozzle with a 4.0 orifice like item 88416 would allow the machine to operate at its full potential.

    1. The red outer covering is a hard poly plastic. The actual tip inside the turbo nozzle is ceramic.

  4. I use a 5.5 gpm / 3,000 PSI ( Honda GX390 ). Which size turbo nozzle would be best per spec? I am very concerned about back pressure. I do not want to burn my pump up.

    1. For a 5.5 GPM, 3000 PSI pressure washer, a 6.0 orifice, 6.5 orifice or 7.0 orifice is recommended.

    1. It would be best to get a 3.0 orifice nozzle for the Powerhorse hot water pressure washer, item #115177. Please view item #88413 for a suitable turbo nozzle.

  6. I have a 3300psig 3.0gpm Northstar pressure washer. the chart at Northern tool shows that i need a 3.5 orifice, but the only one offered shows a pressure range of 3700 to 5100 psig. which on e should i choose?

    1. The 3.5 orifice nozzle, item 43246 will work with a minimum pressure of 3000 PSI. This 3.0 orifice nozzle will also work with a minimum pressure of 3000 PSI. Either one would be suitable for the pressure washer described.

    1. This may be too much PSI for vinyl siding. It is recommended to use 2500-3000 PSI.

    1. For a pressure washer with 3000 PSI and 5 GPM, you would use the turbo nozzle, item #43247 with a 4.0 orifice size.

  9. What is the gallons per minute of this item? Is the orifice related to the gpm? or the flow? or both? Machine 1 is 8.5gpm@ 3500psi - what is the best rotating nozzle to use? Machine 2 is 4.0gpm@ 4000psi - what is the best rotating nozzle to use?
