    so it will connect right to the quick connector on the pressure washer? Pressure Washer #1578202.

    5. Yes, it is a standard 3/8" pressure washing quick connector fitting, just like the end of your high pressure hose. You need to connect the gauge to the machine first, then your hose to the gauge and so forth.

  2. Can i leave this gauge on pressure washer permantly? Or is that not a good idea?

    1. The gauge can be left on the pressure washer permanently.

    2. I leave my gauge on the machine all the time. Every once in a while I remove it to spray a little WD-40 in it to keep the ball bearings on the female side lubed.

  3. Does this gauge have to be mounted vertically?

    Based on my current frame for my pressure washer it would be much easier to read if it was horizontal to the ground so I could look down and read the PSI while the unit was running. Is this possible with this type of gauge or does it have to be mounted vertically to the ground?

    1. The pressure washer gauge can be mounted in any position including horizontally or face up/face down.

    Just looking for the general direction of the water flow on this unit? Is it going from the male to female end or female to male end?

    1. This quick connect gauge works regardless of the water flow direction, meaning the water can flow from the male to female end or vice versa.

    1. The gauge will have a face diameter of 2.5". The gauge is 4.5" tall from top to bottom including the coupler. The gauge is glycerin filled.

    1. The gauge will be mounted to the outlet of the pump. It will read some pressure while the pump is in bypass. To know what pressure is being sprayed, the trigger will need to be engaged.

  9. Is this a liquid fillable gauge?

    Picture shows gauge half filled with glycerin or mineral oil. Can the gauge be user filled?

    1. This is a glycerin filled gauge. It is not recommended for glycerin filled gauges to be filled completely. They are designed to have a small air space or gap to allow expansion and contraction of the liquid due to temperature changes and pressure fluctuations. The gauge is refillable.
