  1. Is this product environmentally friendly? Will it harm plants or trees or grass?

    1. I have used it on multiple occasions, and have never seen it harm any vegetation. However, if there are delicate flowers, trees or gardens near the home, I cover them with plastic. The rinse runoff has never caused any damage.

    2. The NorthStar Pressure Washer House Wash Concentrate is a Green Friendly Cleaner with a pH below 12.5. It is suggested you water the surrounding vegetation prior to using the cleaners as this will help prevent the vegetation from being harmed or burned.

    1. This house wash concentrate can be used on composite boards. It should be diluted and used on small, manageable sections so it can be scrubbed and rinsed away before it dries and leaves a film.

  6. Can you barch mix this product? If so what is the ratio? Also can it be used on Asphalt Shingles as a soft wadh?

    1. The mixing ratios for this house wash concentrate are 30:1 for light cleaning, 15:1 for medium cleaning and 1:1 for heavy cleaning.   7. how much coverage will this 5 gallon wash? Do you need the entire 5 gal for one typical vinyl siding house?

    1. There are too many variables to determine the coverage for this house wash, including dilution rate and size of home.

  8. Is this product suitable for metal building panels? Will it leave streaks?

    1. This can be used for cleaning metal building panels. It is designed to not leave streaks as long as it is rinsed properly and not allowed to dry on the surface being cleaned.

  9. Can this product be use with high pressure washer? I don't have a soft wash spray system, but I do have a Simpson 3300 pressure sprayer. According to the operator manual, using the siphon hose with the "black" spray nozzle (low pressure) the mix is 7:1.

  10. Will this remove gutter stains from concrete and be an over all good choice for concrete? also is this a bleach product?

    1. This house wash can be used on concrete. Follow the dilution ratios based on how deep of a clean is desired. This product does not contain any bleach.
