    2. There are 3/8" quick couplers already installed on the ends of the hose. The male coupler (plug) is zinc plated steel. The female coupler (socket) is brass.

    5. Yes, this non-marking hose has the quick couplers included. It has a 3/8 male quick connect nipple on one end and a 3/8"
      female quick connect coupler on the other end.

  2. Can the connectors now on the hose be taken off and replaced without cutting and recrimping the hose?

    1. The quick connectors can be removed but the hose ends cannot like most hydraulic hoses.

    2. The quick couplers are threaded onto the hose ends with standard 3/8 male pipe thread. The couplers can be easily replaced when necessary (I like to use the stainless steel couplers).

    4. The 4000 PSI Non-Marking Pressure Washer Hose comes with 3/8" quick-connect fittings that both have 3/8" NPT thread underneath that can be used instead of the quick-connect. Northern Tool sells adapters to fit most sizes if you have something different. The hose can be cut and re-crimped, but is not recommended.

  3. Are these hoses doubled braided wire? The last two I bought were single and didn't last at all.

    1. This is a high quality SINGLE STEEL BRAID hose. I have used this hose commercially for the past 12 months using 3000+psi and hot water/steam. This hose is holding up as well as my 2-wire hoses, but this hose is more flexible.

    1. The outside diameter will range from 0.53"-0.62" (14.7-16 MM). The connection on the hose will be a 3/8" MNPT and a 3/8" straight through industrial quick connect. The weight of the hose is approximately 13.64 pounds.
