  1. Will the red handle screw in and cut the pressure off completely?

    1. The handle will only increase or decrease the pressure. It would not completely shut off the pressure. The gun would shut off the pressure and flow.

  3. Can this be used with Northstar Electric hot water pressure washer #157308?

    1. The item # 157308 has a 1/4" NPT female outlet on the trigger gun and this lance has a 1/4" NPT male inlet so this lance can be used as a replacement.

  4. I bought this lance recently. It didn't come with any tips. What tips do you sell which will fit this lance.

    1. This lance has a 1/4" quick connect female outlet for the nozzles. The orifice size for the nozzles would depend on the PSI and GPM rating of your pressure washer. You can view our chart for determining nozzle orifice size based on the PSI & GPM in our pressure washer buyers guide: https://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/buyers-guides_pressure-washers
      For example, a 3.5 GPM at 3,000 PSI would call for a 4.0 orifice size. The 4.0 orifice size, 5 pack of 1/4" quick connect nozzles would be our item # 43201.

  5. Questions about this product

    I have two questions about this product.

    The first is does the side handle control which nozzle is functioning? I'm assuming that the soap dispensing piece is low pressure and 65 degrees.

    The second question is does anyone sell a 1/4 NPT female/M22 male fitting so I can fit this lance onto my existing gun? The 1/4 NPT female would connect to the 1/4 male end on this lance and the M22 male would go into the gun itself...I know it is an item that is made, becuase I've seen them welded onto other lances, but I can't seem to find one sold separately. I improvised with a 1/4 NPT coupling combined with a 1/4 Male/3/8 NPT female fitting and a 3/8 male/M22 Male fitting.

    1. You would easily adjust from the low pressure to the high pressure by twisting the red valve handle. The high pressure nozzle is not included. We do offer a 1/4" NPT female to M22 male fitting adapter. Please see my recommendation below for this fitting:

  6. I bought the dual lance, trigger spray gun, 3/8 hex nipple. What other parts do I need to make this unit operable?

    1. There may be a few different parts needed depending on what hose you are attaching to. Listed in my product recommendations below are a few fittings that will work with this lance. Please note the lance has a 1/4" male thread and may need additional adapters to be used with 3/8" couplers. At this time Northern Tool does not supply a 1/4" to 3/8" adapter fitting.
