    What effect does orifice size have? the only diff between the three soap shooters appears to be the size.

    1. Orifice size is geared to the output of your pressure washer. Selecting the correct orifice size for your machine will help maintain proper working/siphoning pressure of the soap shooter.

    2. This NorthStar high pressure soap shooter will work with item 45811. While the pressure washer has a 3.0 orifice size, this soap shooter has a 4.0 orifice. This means the opening on the soap shooter nozzle is larger than what the pressure washer is rated for, so you would notice a slight drop in pressure while using these two products together.

  3. Whats the difference between #4, #4.5, and #5?

    1. #4 is the smallest orifice size which is better for pressure washers using lower psi and gpm. #5 being the largest orifice size. Select an orifice size according to your pressure washer's psi/gpm capability.

    2. The #4, #4.5 or #5 refers to the orifice size of the nozzle. The size orifice depends on the GPM and PSI that your pressure washer provides.

  4. mix ratio

    Can you tell me what the mix ratio is for the 100145, 100146, 100147 chemical injector?

    1. Not sure the mix ratio but this injector does have an adjustment that does work very well.

  6. Will this corrode if I am using it to syphon phosphate through my pressure washer?

    1. Phosphate is corrosive to stainless steel nozzles and may also be corrosive to tubing, depending on its concentration.

    1. This soap shooter is designed for use with pressure washer chemicals such as our house wash (item #47921). It cannot be used with muriatic acid.

  10. Will this inject soap on the pressure side of the pump? So I can use the 15 degree - 45 degree  - and the 25 degree tips and still get soap injection?

    1. This unit only sprays a straight stream, the 0 degree pattern. This would be used in place of one of your nozzles.
