  1. Does this tank come with a gas cap & a fuel line hook up -Valve fitting or what??

    1. Our NorthStar gas tank comes with a gas cap, and the fuel line connection is a 1/4 inch needle valve.

  2. how is the gas cap vented

    I need to replace the cap on an existing tank. The old cap has a hole for a vent and water gets in to the tank. Are the new caps the same or can you close the vent when not in use?

    1. This NorthStar gas tank has a cap that is vented with a valve that only allows air in the tank, it will not allow water to enter.

    1. This NorthStar Gas Tank is made to fit NorthStar generators 10,000 watts or larger. Our item #405210, will fit other NorthStar generators which are 5,500 watts and under 10,000 watts.

  6. Can you use this gas tank on top of an engine?

    I am looking to replace the old metal tank on a tractor and this would fit nicely.

    1. No, it should not be used for your tractor, this is used for small engine applications with a frame.
