  1. what size are the threads and what size is the quick coupler.

    I'm looking for a quick coupler that will accept the pressure washer tips which i think are 1/4". The description of this says 1/4" inlet but I dont know if this refers to the thread size or coupler size.

    1. It is both. 1/4" female threaded on one end & 1/4" female quick coupler on the other. I screwed it on the end of my 1/4" hose & used 1/4" male threaded to 1/4" male quick couplers to attach jetter nozzles to the hose. I also use 1/4" male quick couplers to M22 male threaded to attach other hoses & nozzles to the hose.

    2. This coupler will accept 1/4" Quick connect nozzles. The inlet is 1/4" national pipe thread (standard on most pressure washer lances). Always make sure to match the orifice size on the nozzle to match your pressure washer psi and GPM.

  2. Does this coupler shut off water flow when plug is removed?

    1. it does not have a check valve that will shut off the water when the nozzle is removed

    2. No, this quick coupler is to allow you to attach matching quick couplings, there is no valving to allow the water to stop flowing when you remove the hardware attached to it.

      However, if this is attached to your lance at the end of your gun and you want to switch out the quick connect nozzles, all you would have to do is release the trigger on the gun to stop the water flow because your gun has the appropriate shut off valve to do so.

      In other words...without a gun and trigger the water will flow.

  3. My discharge at the bottom is a 1/2 fine thread needing a coupler
