Product Summary

The NorthStar ATV Broadcast and Spot Sprayer combines spot spraying flexibility with efficient broadcast coverage for lawns, food plots, fence lines and acreage maintenance. The 26-gallon tank pairs with a NorthStar NSQ Series demand-style diaphragm pump that delivers up to 2.2 GPM and 70 PSI for reliable spraying performance. A 2-nozzle broadcast boom provides up to 120in. spray coverage, while individual boom nozzle valves allow left-, right- or full-width spraying. The adjustable pressure regulator with integrated agitation capability helps maintain consistent chemical mixtures, and the adjustable spray gun nozzle easily transitions from a straight stream to a hollow cone pattern. Designed for ATV mounting, this sprayer includes a 15ft. spray hose, remote on/off switch, pressure gauge and integrated hose and gun storage for convenient operation in the field.

    1. The boom brackets measure 15" long. To ensure proper spray coverage, the unfolded boom nozzles should be positioned approximately 21" above the ground. The sprayer must remain level with the ground to maintain this height. Please measure the height of the UTV bed to confirm this setup can be achieved.

    1. Currently, different broadcast nozzles are not available for creating a wider spray pattern.

  6. Is there a switch to go from boom spray to spot sprayer. I'm in a prescribed burn association and there might be need to wet the firebreak and then use the spot spray to decrease burn rate on spots. How would you do that if there is not a switch?

    1. This sprayer has a boom valve located on the side of the tank as well as shutoff valves for the left and right boom nozzles. Turn this off before to prevent accidental release from the boom nozzles.

    1. The boom nozzles are 4.0 orifice. The nozzles can be changed out for larger or smaller sizes. Changing the nozzle size will impact performance and application rates.

  10. I just purchased and assembled my sprayer. When mounted on my ATV with the boom assembly on the lowest possible hole on the boom mount, my spray nozzles are 31" from the ground. Do you offer longer boom mounts or boom mount extensions so I can be at 20"?

    1. We do not offer an extension to make it lower to the ground for spraying.
