    1. Each color specifies a spray angle.
      Red 0 degree spray angle
      Yellow 15 degree spray angle
      Green 25 degree spray angle
      White 40 degree spray angle
      Black 65 degree spray angle (low pressure soap nozzle)

  2. how do you know what size nozzle. it is a Northstar Power Washer with a 5.5 HP Honda Motor

    1. The orifice size is determined by the pressure (PSI) and flow (GPM) of the pressure washer. This nozzle set performs optimally with pressure washers rated at 3000 PSI and 4 GPM.

    1. The 2.0 nozzle will work with a pressure washer that is 1.3 GPM at 2200 PSI.

    1. The orifice size for the nozzle should closely match the gallon per minute your machine can produce. Nozzles with a 3.0 orifice size would work best with the gallon per minute and operating pressure your machine produces. Please see our item #43199 for a 5-nozzle kit that would work.

    1. A 3000 psi and 3.5 gallon per minute pressure washer would need a 4.0 orifice, please see nozzle set item 43201.

    1. You would choose the size nozzle to use according to the PSI and GPM of your pressure washer. Example: If you have a pressure washer with 1800 PSI and 8 GPM you would use a nozzle with a 2.0 orifice size at, 2500 PSI and 2-2.5 GPM you would use a nozzle with an orifice size of 3.0, at 2500 to 3000 PSI with 3 GPM would use a 3.5 orifice size.

    1. The General Pump Pressure Washer Spray Nozzles will work with pressure washers up to 2.0 GPM @ 1800 PSI. Please check your product’s specifications to see if they are compatible.
