Product Summary

The Multinautic® QPF-495 Modular Floating Dock Kit with Cedar Decking offers great stability in water with its broad 5ft. x 10ft. structure and robust foam-filled floats. The medium freeboard sits roughly 16in. above water and is ideal for boarding, disembarking and mooring all types of small and medium crafts up to approximately 25ft. in length or 4,000 lb with a basic layout of three dock sections or more.

Purchase as many QPF-495 stationary and floating dock kits as needed to obtain your desired configuration. For a steady floating dock system, anchor it to the shore using a stationary dock (see Model# 21577) and join the floating and stationary sections together with a semi-floating ramp. The semi-floating ramp reduces wave motion and keeps the floating dock level at the junction. It is easily created using this floating dock kit with only 2 of the 3 supplied floats. Install the leftover float to the next floating section for added stability.

Sturdy, durable and lightweight, its all-aluminum structure is quick to assemble with the included stainless-steel and hot dip galvanized hardware and is easy to install and remove for winter storage if required. The integrated leg holders within the rectangular structure create smooth, straight edges that minimize the risk of hull damage. The exclusive top track system allows for easy installation and repositioning of cleats and accessories to the sides of the dock.

One floating dock kit comes with an anchor chain hook and all necessary hardware to assemble the frame and includes a pair of hinges and a junction stabilizer to join 2 docks end to end, side by side or in an "L" or "T" shape. The extra sturdy Eagle floats are manufactured in the USA and covered with a 15-year warranty against manufacturer’s defects. They are filled with closed cell expanded polystyrene (EPS) and each has a buoyancy of 500 lb.

The included top-quality kiln-dried cedar planks are lighter than pressure-treated wood and composite and are ready to assemble into 2 removable 66 lb. 5ft. x 5ft. panels for easier handling. Cedar is the best choice for decking as it is maintenance-free and naturally resistant to weather, mildew, and insects. Soft to the touch, it will also remain cool under the sun, perfect for bare feet!
