  1. Is this a vent free model?

    1. This unit operates as vent-free with a little fresh air supplied. No problems whatsoever in our warehouse.

    3. Yes, this heater is unvented, and must be used only in a well ventilated area. Two openings directly to the outdoors must be provided, one low and one high, preferably on opposite sides of the area to be heated. The heater is designed and approved for use as a construction heater.

  2. does the hose hook to standard tanks?

    does the included 12' hose hook to standard propane tanks?

    1. Yes, this connects to tanks via the P.O.L fitting which is standard on propane tanks.

  3. Is there a maximum temperature cut off, or will it keep heating?

    I am trying to kill bed bugs and need to get a room up to 120 degrees for 90 minutes.

    1. Thank you for your inquiry. This heater is not certified for indoor use or use in a small room. It does not have an automatic shut off. It is not recommended to kill bed bugs.

    2. The heater does not have a thermostat and would run all the time. It does not have a temperature cutoff. It is a construction heater and must be used in a well ventilated area. It would not be recommended for this application.

  4. Warehouse Use

    Would using this heater in a 2800 square foot warehouse space with a 22ft high ceiling be a good idea? Obviously I'd crack the overhead door somewhat to let in fresh air from outside when the unit is running. The 22ft high ceiling wouldn't make the area as confined, but I'm still a little nervous to use something not vented to the outside to heat the space when needed.

    1. Your concerns about the fumes are unfounded. We use our heater in our 10,000 Sq Ft warehouse and don't open our doors. Not even a crack, but the heater only warms a small space comfortably. Probably close to 15 x 15 or so which works great for our needs. Our ceilings are only 14' but we have also used an unvented flame heater (30K) in our kitchen/dining area without incident. Also have an unvented fireplace we use in our upstairs over the garage for clean & quick heat in that 700 sq ft space.
