    1. This unit does not include the LP conversion kit. The conversion kit is item #5261111, model F163071.

    1. The manufacturer does not test for noise levels. The blower produces approximately the same amount of noise as a standard box fan.

    1. The heater can be vented through the wall. It is designed to be vented both vertically and horizontally.

    1. This unit is designed to be hung. It requires no less than an 8 ft. clearance from the floor to the bottom of the heater.

  7. is there a minimum distance required from floor to bottom of the heater. our space is only 8 ft tall. so, there would only be about 5 ft 6 inches of space between the floor (cement) and bottom of heater.

    1. According to the manual, this heater must not be installed less than 8 ft. above the floor from the bottom of the heater.

  8. Can you instal this by setting on a platform or does it have to be hung from top of unit?

    1. This heater requires 6" of clearance from the top and bottom of the unit. This should be hung for proper installation.

  9. Is this heater made for corrosive environments like a greenhouse?

    1. High humidity or salt water atmospheres will accelerate heater corrosion and reduce the useful life of the heater. Do not install the heater in locations where water (in the form of rain, drips or spray) could fall onto the gas ignition components.

    1. This heater requires 3/8"-16 threaded bolts for mounting. The bolts are not included.
