Crafted from high-quality Grade 8 steel, these adapters ensure strength and reliability in every offroading, overlanding or towing situation. Need help help choosing your size? Here is some information that will help you out. Most shackles have a larger pin diameter compared to the "nominal" shackle size or shackle body size classification. In most cases the shackle pin is 1/8in. larger in diameter compared to the shackle nominal size designation. For example, the most common size shackle for midsize trucks, jeeps and SUVs is a 3/4in. shackle that has a pin diameter of 7/8in. so that the shear strength of the pin matches or exceeds the strength of the shackle body size.
