Additionally, the optional Milwaukee 48‑73‑1062 bump cap insert is available for purchase on our website under Item #65380980001.

  3. Is the liner inside the hat washable?

    1. Clean the shell with mild soap and water. Do not use gasoline, turpentine, lacquer thinner, paint thinner, chlorinated cleaning solvents, ammonia and household detergents containing ammonia. These agents and solvents are harmful to plastics and other parts and can lessen the protection from impact and penetration. Replace the bump cap if cannot be cleaned following these instructions.

    1. The snap back bump caps are not classified as type I, type II or class G. The hat is designed for comfort and protection, but does not meet specific classifications for hard hats or helmets. The bump hat is not OSHA approved.
