    does one need to continously hold the switch ON
    to operate this tool.......and is there a lock run option to leave this tool running ?

    i hate the toos you need to always depress the on switch

    1. no the switch will lock on

    2. The switch can easily be locked in the ON position by pushing forward and rocking down. It also releases easily with just a tap, even when wearing heavy gloves.

    3. No need to keep holding the switch on this one. It has a slide switch that when pushed forward will lock into position and the rear portion of the switch will somewhat lift away from the body. When ready to turn off just push the raised portion of the back part of the switch and this will release it to return to the "off" position. Hope this helps!

    4. No. You can push the switch up and it toggles into a slot, locking it on. As I am holding the tool with my right hand, sometimes my thumb will hit the switch and it will shut off.

    5. The Milwaukee small angle grinder has a simple slide switch that when slid forward to ON position will stay ON until slid backwards to OFF position.
