Designed for use with Impact Drivers, the SHOCKWAVE™ Impact Duty 3/8in. Threaded Rod Nut Runner is engineered with an optimized SHOCKZONE™ to absorb peak torque and prevent breaking with up to 100lbs of lifting capacity, making it ideal for assembly, installation, and adjustments. The split socket design allows side access to installed hangers and standard hex nuts for easy rack adjustments without disassembly.

  1. I’m not a mechanical but have all Milwaukee tools. I don’t know how this tool works, please explain.

    1. The threaded rod nut runner works as an impact driver attachment that spins standard 9/16" hex nut up to 9 time faster than doing it by hand. An internal gear-driven mechanism allows the tool to rapidly run the nut up or down a 3/8" threaded rod.

  2. Can you change it out for , we use 1/4 ,3/8 threaded rod, on other jobs a lot of deifrint sizes

    1. There are no adapters available for this threaded rod nut runner to use it with different threads. It can only be used with 3/8" rod.
