  1. whats the thickness of mild steel this will cut

    1. The manufacturer only rates the minimum thickness the blade will cut, which is 3/32”. This blade is intended for cutting ferrous metals.

    2. best for 1/4 inch plate or thinner , but will cut 1/2 inch if you take your time and cool-run blade often. Great for stock cutting too(angle, square, or rounds,etc,)

    3. it will cut 3/32 and up .... that means nothing thinner than 3/32 - but i cut 1" with it already ... it is rated at 3/8"
