The Milwaukee® One-Key™ Bluetooth Tracking Tag allows professionals to track what matters, backed by One-Key™, the industry's largest tracking network. The tracking tag has a more compact design and can be attached items via glue, screw, rivet or zip tie to anything from ladders and job boxes to valuable equipment. Integrated with the free Milwaukee One-Key™ App, the tracking tags for equipment will provide location updates when it comes within 300ft. of any device with the One-Key™ App, providing the last seen date, time and location. Professionals can identify their equipment even if it cannot be visibly seen, with a new built-in speaker to ring their tag and locate it within 50ft. A simplified 2-step setup process utilizes a QR code scanned with a smartphone's built-in camera.   1. Does the tag only ping thru the app or does it ping anytime a cellular device is near it

    1. The tracker does not make noise. You would need to log into the app for the app to alert you to the location.

  2. Can you put this inside a the battery area of a tv remote control?

    1. The tracking tag could not be put inside the battery compartment of a TV remote control.

  3. Does this work without being near it. I have alot of restoration equipment that I would like to use these on and these are always leaving the shop that wont be 300 ft.

    1. You would need to be within the 300 ft range of the tracking tag for you to be alerted.
