The Milwaukee® M18 FUEL™ Rear Handle 7 1/4in. Circular Saw is designed for the professional carpenter, remodeler, and general contractor. The circular saw Generates the Power of 15amp corded saws, cut faster than 15amp corded saws and delivers up to 570 cuts per charge with an M18™ RedLithium™ High Output™ HD12.0 battery. The Powerstate™ brushless motor provides this worm drive style saw with 5800 RPM and higher speeds under load, delivering corded cutting performance. Redlink Plus™ Intelligence lets the tool achieve maximum performance and protects the circular saw from overload, overheating and over discharge. The M18™ RedLithium™ High Output™ HD12.0 (not included) is compatible with all M18 tools, runs 50% cooler, and delivers unmatched run times and 50% more power.     10 lbs. tool weight looks quite heavy if the 12.0 AH Battery is not included in that spec.

    1. The Milwaukee M18 FUEL Rear Handle Circular Saw (Model 2830-20) does not come with an angle protractor for beveling. However, it does offer bevel capacity up to 57 degrees.

  6. what is the difference in motor size and power between the 2830-20 and 2730-20

    1. The motor of model 2830-20 is rated for 5800 RPM. It is made with more copper and has larger/better magnets than the motor in model 2730-20 which is rated for 5000 RPM.

  8. I am left handed so would the sawdust discharge go opposite of most circular saws?? I don't want the sawdust discharge blowing all over me like regular saws do.
