  2. Will this saw work with the M 18 Red Lithium XC batteries?

    1. Yes, that's what I used.

    2. The M18 Red Lithium XC batteries are compatible with all products in the M18 Cordless tool system.

  3. Does this tool run on the same M18 batteries that I have for my cordless drills?

    1. All M18 tools will work with any M18 batteries. The larger the battery pack the more run time you get. M18 XC pack is ok, but the M18 5.0 pack is better, the M18 9.0 is much better and the new 12.0 pack is the best for run time. Note -The bigger the battery the heavier it gets too. Match your battery pack for the length of time your going to need it or have multiple batteries and just cycle them out. Either way will work.

    2. This tool is powered by an 18V LITHIUM-ION battery. As long as your cordless drill runs on the same type, you should be able to use you battery.

  4. do you have right and left hand circular saws ?

    1. There are some with the blade on the right verses the left but you will get used to using the saw with either hand as you use it. I would look for more important features such as power, blade size, accessories and such before being left or right hand friendly.

  6. is the motor brushless ? The 7 1/2 inch cordless states it is brushless but this model ( 6 1/2 inch ) doesn't say

    1. This saw can be used with metal cutting blades. Page 7 of the product manual (included with the saw) should be reviewed when using it for this application.

    1. This is a new saw and is tool only, you will need a battery and charger if you do not have other Milwaukee M18 products. Please see item #71756 for an M18 12.0 Ah battery and item #32665 charger for a complete package.
