Pole Saw w/ QUIK-LOK™ kit gives you the power to cut hardwood branches, reaches full throttle in under 1 second, and delivers up to 150 cuts per charge. The split boom cordless pole saw is made up of two components – the M18 FUEL™ Power Head w/ QUIK-LOK™ and QUIK-LOK™ 10” Pole Saw Attachment. This M18 FUEL™ Power Head, part of the M18 FUEL™ QUIK-LOK™ Attachment System, is compatible with multiple split shaft attachments such as an Edger, Articulating Hedge Trimmer, and String Trimmer attachment. This gives you the ability to quickly swap out attachments on a single Power Head, delivering ultimate versatility and a lower cost of ownership. The POWERSTATE™ Brushless Motor gives you the power to maintain its speed in demanding applications without bogging down, outperforming higher voltage systems. The Motor is positioned in the rear of pole saw to provide the best combination of power, balance, and maneuverability.     1. Per the manufacturer, the head unit is also the string trimmer head unit and the broom head unit. It is multi purpose power head without scrench storage.

  4. can this pole saw take a standard bar and chain

    1. This pole saw uses an Oregon 10" bar and chain. At this time we do not offer the replacement bar. The replacement chain is item 99406.

  5. can I use the V60, 2.5AH battery on this tool?

    1. This system is compatible with M18 batteries only. For optimal performance an 8.0Ah battery or higher is recommended.

    1. A Petroleum based bar and chain oil is recommended for use for a pole saw. You can also use SAE 30 motor oil or for colder temperatures SAE 10 oil.

    1. The Milwaukee replacement chain for this pole saw would be item #99406, model 49-16-2723. The Oregon replacement chain, item #4327705 will also work for this pole saw.

  10. can I use my 3.0 ah milwaukee battery packs on this pole saw as well as the 8.0 ah that comes with it? Of course I know if yes reduced run time will be available. often I only need a couple quick limbs cut and the light battery would make things easier.
