Designed to meet the needs of landscape maintenance professionals, the MILWAUKEE® M18 FUEL™ String Trimmer w/ QUIK-LOK™ provides you with more power than 31cc gas trimmers and reaches full throttle in under 1 second and is part of the industry's most capable attachment system. The split boom cordless string trimmer is made up of two components – the M18 FUEL™ Power Head w/ QUIK-LOK™ and QUIK-LOK™ String Trimmer Attachment. This allows you to quickly swap out any of the 13 attachments on a single power head, delivering ultimate versatility and a lower cost of ownership. The POWERSTATE™ Brushless Motor delivers you the power to maintain speed in demanding applications without bogging down. The motor is positioned in the rear of the trimmer to provide the best combination of power, balance, and maneuverability. The motor also has an advanced air-cooling system to sustain demanding applications for longer, increasing user productivity. REDLINK PLUS™ intelligence maximizes performance while protecting from overload, overheating, and over-discharge. The advanced electronic package also delivers instant throttle response, 3 speeds, and a variable speed trigger. The trimmer delivers best-in-class performance when paired with M18™ REDLITHIUM™ FORGE XC8.0 Battery (not included). The Easy Load Trimmer Head provides the ability to load up to 25ft. of trimmer line in under 30 seconds. The M18 FUEL™ String Trimmer w/ QUIK-LOK™ is part of the M18™ system which is compatible with 275+ tools.

  1. will this unit operate with a xc6 battery what would the run time be

    1. The trimmer can be used with an XC6 battery. The run time would vary due to the settings and density of the vegetation. It could run approximately 30-60 minutes on a 6.0 Ah battery.
