    1. The vacuum pump could not be used to prime a water pump. It is specifically designed to remove air and moisture from refrigerant lines.

  3. What is the average run time of this pump before battery replacement is necessary? I realize it would be battery size specific so employ your biggest and smallest battery sizes please.  Thank you

    1. The vacuum pump includes an 8.0 Ah battery. When running the pump on the manifold mode, it can run for up to 90 minutes per charge. If on the default mode, it would run approximately 60 minutes per charge. A 12.0 battery would last up to 50% longer than the 8.0 Ah battery. The 8.0 Ah battery would last four times as long as a 2.0 Ah battery

  4. Is this vacuum pump going to be A2L compliant?

    1. The vacuum Pump is suitable for use with systems that utilize A2L refrigerants provided proper precautions have been followed. This includes ensuring all refrigerant has been removed when servicing or evacuating a system that contains A2L refrigerants. Due to the mildly flammable nature of A2L refrigerants, it is important to ensure users receive proper technical training prior to handling these refrigerants. Special licensing or certification may be required before handling flammable refrigerants. Always follow local, state and/or federal regulations or guidelines when working on systems containing refrigerants.

    1. The manufacturer has not tested the vacuum pump for a decibel (DB) rating.

  6. I see that the product specs list the tool as 2 year manufacturer warranty. In the pictures it displays a 5 year warranty on tool and 2 year warranty on battery. May I get clarification on the longevity of the tool warranty?

    1. The vacuum pump has a 2 year warranty on the pump and a 3 year limited warranty on the battery.
