  1. 26 gauge R panel

    How does this cutter cut over the R panel humps? I have had some electric ones hard to go over the tall R panel humps.

    1. I've cut corrugated roofing and you have to wiggle it back and forth to get it to cut going up the hills. Going down and any flat area it works great. Cutting the R panel will be similar as you have to make it go up on the hill. Doable buy a pain.

    2. This tool has not been tested by the manufacturer for cutting R panel roofing solutions particularly over the humps. 26 gauge metal is well within the units cutting capability but going over the humps in the material might be difficult because the tool works best on flat surfaces.

    1. The shear would have a 360 degree rotating head that would allow you to cut out round gaskets.

    1. The shear will cut up to 20 gauge (0.035") stainless steel.

  6. I am looking to buy this shear. Do I need to purchase the battery and the battery charger separately?

    1. This shear does not include a battery and charger. The recommended charger is item 32665 and the recommended battery is item 330828. Item 62597 is a battery and charger kit with a higher capacity, but would also work.

  7. Will this work for cutting up cardboard boxes?
