    1. The polisher/sander can be used with wet sanding paper for automotive use. You would need to find the correct kit compatible to it for wet sand paper.

  2. Is buffing pads & backing plates available as a kit or could I buy them separate ? I would like to buy the backing plates for sanding & Buffing pads . I have the tool ..

    1. The buffing pads and backing plates are not available through Northern Tool.

  3. Does this have a lock like a drill for a bit? Would it stand continuous use like for an hour or more?

    1. To change the backing pad, press the spindle lock and thread the backing pad into the spindle. Hand tighten securely. The sander/polisher is able to handle continuous duty.

  4. Will a M18 battery work for this tool? Is there any stronger battery that works for this buffer?

    1. This only works with Milwaukee 12 volt batteries, the largest available battery is item 63328, XC 6.0 extended capacity battery pack.
