An exclusive digital processor delivers the highest reception and signal clarity in the industry.   1. when you plug it in does it charge the battery ?

    1. No. Battery and charger are sold separate and must be charged in charger not in radio.

    2. No it does not charge the battery. You will need a separate charger for that. Most of the drill packages come with the battery charger.

    3. The radio does not charge the battery when it is plugged in. To charge the battery you need to remove the battery from the radio then plug it into a battery charger.

  2. How long does the radio run on a full charge?

    How long does the radio run on a full charge? What are the 3 AAA batteries for? We would like to use it for camping where we wouldn't have power.

    1. The 3 AAA batteries are used to maintain presets memory

    2. A full charge will run about 8-12 hours. The 3AAA are to keep the set stations programmed. 2 fully charged batteries should last through a camping weekend.

    3. The run time for this radio averages 8 - 10 hours depending on the level of the volume and bass. The AAA batteries are for the clock and the presets.

    1. Setting the Clock
      1. Press and hold the CLOCK button until the hour begins to flash.
      2. Use the (arrow) buttons to change the hour.
      3. Press the CLOCK button again. Use the (arrow) buttons to change the minutes.
      4. Press the CLOCK button again to save.
