Would this be good for small items?
I'm looking to cut down small brass tubing (3/8"), will this saw be too big?
-
Edgar11· 9 years ago
It is a big saw, and will easily cut small tubing. You may want something smaller.

ProductExpert6· 11 years ago
This chop saw would be a bit over sized for the small tubing, but will do it just fine. A better choice may be to put the tubing in a vise and use a band saw.

What is abrasive vs regular blade chop saw for metal
1 answer-
ProductExpert31· 3 years ago
An abrasive blade is worn down as it is used and generates more heat during the cutting process. Abrasive blades are generally cheaper to replace. A cold cutting chop saw blade will generate less heat during the cutting process.
