  3. Would this be good for small items?

    I'm looking to cut down small brass tubing (3/8"), will this saw be too big?

    1. It is a big saw, and will easily cut small tubing. You may want something smaller.

    2. This chop saw would be a bit over sized for the small tubing, but will do it just fine. A better choice may be to put the tubing in a vise and use a band saw.

    What kind of warranty does this come with?

    1. Thw warranty is "Five Years". That's unheard of these days. Thanks.

    2. This has a 5 year warranty that covers manufactures defects. It does not cover abuse, misuse, normal wear and tear. The tool will need to be sent to a factory service center or authorized service center to be repaired.

    1. An abrasive blade is worn down as it is used and generates more heat during the cutting process. Abrasive blades are generally cheaper to replace. A cold cutting chop saw blade will generate less heat during the cutting process.

    1. The largest diameter pipe the chop saw will cut would be 5". A wall thickness is not given for the pipe, it just needs to be no larger than the 5".
