  2. does this coupler work with 1/2 inch male part 155271. i bought the 50 ft 1/2 inch hose reel and now trying to outfit my new shop.

    1. This coupler is a 3/8 inch and will not work with part number 155271. Part number 159327 is designed for 1/2 inch and will work with your coupler.

    2. Hi Trace, no that coupler is a 3/8 inch and will not work with part number 155271. Part number 159327 is designed for 1/2" and will work well. (Milton Part # S1815)

  3. Is this 3/8" on both ends?

    1. It has 3/8 female NPT on one end the other end takes the male hi-flo fitting, which is close to 3/8.

    1. This coupler does fit 3/8 v style fittings. Northern does have the coupler body to fit v style 1/4 fittings also. See item below.
