  1. Can you elaborate on the make-up of the type 34 connection kit (i.e. connection types and sizes)? Also, can the winch reverse under load?

    1. You must have a 34 Series Valve Adapter Kit to complete assembly for H70 series winches. They are vehicle specific and are available on our site. The kit includes; 12 ft. lead remote control, All hoses and fittings, and Remote solenoid activated control valve. You can winch in or out under load, but please note the warning: do not move shift levers when powering winch in or out.

  2. Does it have automatic load holding to rating of winch?

    1. This model does not come equipped with automatic load holding . This would require Mile Marker PN# 34-50130-01 load holding valve kit. This kit is unavailable to order from Northern Tool.

  3. I am looking at this winch and I am wondering what the maximum psi and gpm you can supply this winch? I know the minimum is 3.5 gpm at 1500 psi. Thanks in advance for your help.

    1. This Mile Marker winch has a maximum GPM rating of 7 and a maximum PSI rating of 1500. Using the winch with more than 1500 PSI will void warranty and can cause the cable to snap.

    Can this be mounted and used on a skid steer?

    1. This Mile marker hydraulic winch can be mounted and used on a skid steer as long as the skid steer is providing the required 3.5 GPM @ 1500 psi to the winch.
