Product Summary

This Midland Mobile Radio Bundle includes everything you need to use a mobile radio. The MXT115 MicroMobile™ 2-Way GMRS radio broadcasts up to 3 times the range of traditional handheld GMRS 2-way radios and can be easily mounted in most vehicles. This radio can also be used to communicate with all other GMRS radios. It features 15 high-power GMRS channels, 142 privacy codes, all 8 repeater GMRS channels for massive transmission and reception ranges, a multi-colored LCD backlit display, NOAA weather alert and USB outputs for charging mobile devices. Other great features: silent operation, channel scan, programmable squelch, keypad lock, monitor mode, and keystroke tones.This unit bundles a high-powered antenna system in addition to the already long-range radio. The 3dB gain antenna doubles the radio's power, while the cable, antenna and roll bar mount allow the operator to secure the antenna to ATVs, UTVs and other off-road vehicles. High power: 15 watts; low power: 5 watts. The 3dB antenna is ~12 3/8in., and the mag mount is ~1in., so approximately 14in. of clearance is required. Includes USB-C port for fast charging.

  1. Can a person use a regular antenna with this radio ??

    1. The radio will work with the following model number antennas: MXTA26 (6DB gain whip antenna), MXTA25 (3DB gain ghost antenna) and the MXTA13 (2.1DB antenna).

    Are the 8 GMRS repeater channels in addition to the "15 high-power GMRS frequencies"?

    1. It would include both the 15 high power GMRS channels and the 8 repeater GMRS channels. It would not come with the low frequency FRS channels 8-14.
